General Questions
How much does it cost?
All pricing may be found under "Your Investment" on the Contact page. However, if you are unsure of which photographic service best suits your needs, you may submit a Contact Request and your photographer will assist you with any questions or scheduling requests you may have. The Photographers fee includes the pre-consultation, Time & Talent of your Photographer, Editing and retouching of your specified number of images to download directly from a private gallery sent to you within 7 days for most sessions and up to 2 weeks for Specialty sessions. Is the time allotted enough time?
Absolutely! In my 20+ years of experience, I have found that the best images of children are typically captured within the first 10 minutes of your session. However, it's always nice to have a little extra playtime.
What if there is bad weather on the day of my shoot?
Don’t worry, there are always additional dates made available to you specifically for reschedules. You will be notified a few days prior to your appointment of the possibility. However I usually only reschedule if there is either a 50% or higher chance of rain, OR if it’s colder than 40 degrees out. If it’s overcast, don’t worry! This is preferred as your pictures will look amazing!
Where do I change my clothes?
Outfit changes are not permitted outside of specified Specialty Sessions. Unfortunately most of the locations do not allow outfit changes to take place due to where we will be photographing. With Specialty Sessions, you must be prepared to either layer your clothing to provide yourself with a variety of looks or turn your car into a dressing room if an appropriate place to change is not located near the photography location selected. Also, we may do some walking so you may want to simply bring a pair of flip-flops for in-between scene changes.
When do I view my pictures?
Within 7-10 days for most sessions and within 2 weeks for select Specialty Sessions you will receive a link to your Photographic Gallery. From here you will be able to view and select your favorite images as well as place an order. All galleries are made available for 90 days following the date the original gallery was sent. If a client is needing access to their gallery after 90 days, a $75 reactivation fee will apply to remove the gallery from archival for an additional 60 days.
Can I get digital copies of all of my photos?
You will be provided with access to your full gallery where you will be able to select the set number of digital images based upon the photographic service selected. You will also be provided with web-ready digital copies of your full gallery. All images are fully retouched (blemish removal, skin smoothing, color enhanced etc.) to meet the photographers photographic standards and ready for the world to see. However, please note that all web-ready digital copies are watermarked and sized specifically for sharing via social media and are not sized for prints. You will be provided with the option to upgrade your digital image count to attain all images within your gallery for $200. In order to protect the brand of CJ Photography, only fully edited images are released to ensure you are receiving quality images. Due to the nature of the digital product and its availability to be received as instant downloads, digital images/digital orders are nonrefundable and may not be substituted once a download order has been placed.
